A High Desert Retreat in New Cuyama, California
Perfectly Located In The Middle Of Nowhere
Cuyama Buckhorn, originally built in 1952, used to be a buzzing roadside motel hosting travelers and chic parties. The property announced its resort reveal earlier this year, after various owners, renovations, and styles. Ferial & Jeff the owners of this newly renovated boutique hotel restored the property to its former glory. Each of the 21 western-styled rooms features all the modern amenities (yes, A/C is one of them) along with a touch of mid-century vibes and vintage accents sourced from the local vintage store. With an inviting pool boasting great sunset views, a sauna and a jacuzzi, as well as the only sit-down farm-to-table restaurant in town, Cuyama Buckhorn has truly made a name for itself as a popular roadside stop for weary travelers and a gathering place for the community.
Turn your visit to New Cuyama into a little weekend trip and combine your stay with Blue Sky Center another gem located in the Hidden Valley of Enchantment.
